DAN + ANYA
When my dear friends Dan and Anya asked me to do their wedding flowers as well as be a guest at their wedding I felt so honoured. Anya’s vision was of deep reds to match in with her Burgundy bridesmaids and I added in some Pampas grass with some subtle softer pinks to add some light and shade. The ceremony and reception were both held at Anya’s work place Leeuwin Estate Winery and although there was a bit of drizzle in the morning, the rains held off to make this day absolutely perfect. Dan made the triangle arch for the ceremony himself which we highlighted with two big urns of Pampas and floral either side of the legs to frame them when they said their vows. Anya just wanted small splashes of floral down the middle of the narrow dinner long tables to allow plenty of room for dinner plates and candles so we used different sized amber jars. Loved everything about this Margaret River Autumn wedding and I am sure you’ll agree Anya was an absolute vision. How good is that polka dot veil!
